Terms of Service

RentDokan is a SaaS platform that provides the following services for small and medium-sized entrepreneurs in Bangladesh:

• Online shop and storefront hosting
• Product, order, customer, and coupon management
• Cash on Delivery, bKash, Nagad, and SSLCommerz payment support
• Courier integration (Steadfast and Pathao)
• WhatsApp notifications and order tracking
• Product reviews from customers whose orders were delivered

To use RentDokan:

• You must be at least 18 years old
• You must provide accurate and valid information during signup
• You must have a valid Bangladeshi phone number
• Keeping your account password secure is your responsibility
• One account is permitted per individual — accounts may not be shared

RentDokan offers three plans:

• Free plan (৳0) — up to 5 products, unlimited orders, COD and manual payment recording.
• Pro plan (৳499/month) — unlimited products, SSLCommerz, courier integration, custom domain.
• Business plan (৳999/month) — all Pro features + multi-staff, invoice PDF, SMS, API access.

Monthly subscriptions auto-renew each month. You can cancel anytime from the dashboard. After cancellation, service continues until the end of the current billing month.

You'll get a full refund within the first 14 days of a new Pro or Business subscription (no questions asked). However, refunds don't apply in the following cases:

• Cancellation after 14 days of subscription
• Usage-based fees for SMS, courier booking, or payment gateways
• Account suspension due to terms violation

The following products or services may not be sold on RentDokan:

• Illegal, banned, or smuggled goods
• Drugs, alcohol, tobacco, or controlled substances
• Firearms, explosives, or military equipment
• Obscene, pornographic, or hateful content
• Counterfeit, pirated, or copyright-infringing goods
• Scams, Ponzi schemes, or fraudulent services

If you violate these rules, we reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account without prior notice.

By running a shop on RentDokan, you agree to:

• Provide accurate product descriptions and prices
• Process customer orders in a timely manner
• Deliver products within the promised timeframe
• Resolve customer complaints fairly
• Comply with Bangladesh's consumer rights laws
• Pay applicable taxes (VAT/Tax) yourself
• Not review your own products, or have your staff review them, and never hide a review because it is unfavourable
• If you turn on ad tracking, the ad accounts and the pixel you connect are yours: you own them, and you are responsible for how they are used
• Tell your shoppers about ad tracking in your shop's own privacy notice, and obtain whatever consent the law that applies to you and to your shoppers requires
• Follow Meta's Business Tools Terms, TikTok's Business Products (Data) Terms and the equivalent terms of any other ad platform you connect
• Appoint RentDokan to send server events (the platform’s copy of each shop event) to the ad platforms you connect, on your behalf and with the access token you provide

Remember: transactions happen directly between buyer and seller. RentDokan only provides the platform — we don't guarantee product quality or delivery.

RentDokan's brand, logo, source code, and platform design are owned by us. You own the product images, descriptions, and content you upload to your store — but you grant us a license to host, display, and process them as needed to operate the service.

RentDokan is provided "as is." We aim for 99.9% uptime, but temporary disruptions may occur due to maintenance, updates, or third-party issues.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RentDokan is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability will never exceed the fees you paid us in the previous 12 months.

You can delete your account anytime from the dashboard. We may also suspend or terminate accounts for the following reasons:

• Violation of these terms or the privacy policy
• Subscription unpaid for more than 60 days
• Suspicion of fraudulent activity
• Court order or legal obligation

These terms may be updated over time. For significant changes, we'll give at least 30 days' notice via email or dashboard notification. Continued use of the service after the new terms take effect constitutes your acceptance.

This agreement is governed by the laws of Bangladesh. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh. We'll first attempt to resolve issues through friendly discussion and mediation.
